Telling the Tecan story.
Inside and out.

Title slide
My role
I designed this slide type for every Tecan deck.
What I changed now
The photo carries the cover; one white box holds the message, like tecan.com.
02 / 09
Purpose
My role
I designed this slide type for Tecan product and business decks.
What I changed now
A photo column, the purpose as a headline, six areas in a clean grid.
03 / 09
Comparison
My role
I designed this slide type for the company introduction.
What I changed now
Two white panels, each with its colour on top; the 40/60 split set big and shown as a bar.
04 / 09
Process
My role
I designed this slide type for MedTech and IVD pitch decks.
What I changed now
A full-bleed photo of Cavro pumps from Tecan’s own film, the 80% set huge, and the five stages in one white bar.
05 / 09
Key figures
My role
I designed this slide type for corporate and investor decks.
What I changed now
The hero figure is shown, not just stated: eight of ten dots light up.
06 / 09
Customer story
My role
I designed this slide type for Partnering customer cases.
What I changed now
The story in three steps; the photo carries two callouts.
07 / 09
Portfolio
My role
I designed this slide type for Life Sciences business decks.
What I changed now
The instrument cut out and the software on a laptop: product first, no boxes.
08 / 09
Global footprint
My role
I designed this slide type for CDMO and pitch decks.
What I changed now
Dot map with arcs from Männedorf; each site with its country flag.
09 / 09
Quote
My role
I designed this slide type for the digital solutions deck.
What I changed now
The quote as a speech bubble, the person beside it.
04 · How I see internal communication at Tecan

One system, from the slide to the inbox.

The same brand, the same calm, in every channel employees use.

One message per piece

Each piece says one thing, and says it first.

One system everywhere

Slides, email, intranet and screens share one look.

Built for 30 seconds

The point lands before people scroll on.

People first

Real colleagues make strategy feel close.

One campaign · five pieces

The Q4 Town Hall, from the first question to the recap.

My roleConcept, plan, copy and design: a proposal made for this conversation, using six Tecan sites as an example. Not a real Tecan campaign.

Drag the start time and watch each site switch on and off. No single hour reaches all six, but two sessions reach 6 of 6. Times for a town hall in November, after the clocks change.

My decisionI started with the clock, not the design. When people can listen decides the whole plan.

02 · The planOne message, one week, every channel.

Scroll through the week. Each day the circle gets wider, and each moment links to the piece it uses.

My decisionI brief managers first, so nobody learns big news from an email before their team lead can answer questions.

03 · The invitationEmail banners.

The header image at the top of three emails: the CEO message, the invitation and the recording. Three moments of one campaign, recognisable in the inbox before anyone reads a word.

My decisionI kept one layout for three moments, so people recognise the campaign before they read a word.

Written for all six sites: short sentences, one message, and the practical details first.

My decisionI put the times for each site on the right, because that is what people look for first.

One town hall, two times, every site.

Our Q4 town hall runs twice on Thursday, so every colleague can join live.

Internal Communications · 2 min read

On Thursday, our leadership team will share where Tecan stands and what comes next. Our sites span three continents, so no single hour works for everyone. That is why we are doing it twice.

The 09:00 session (Männedorf time) is for colleagues in Europe and Asia. The 17:00 session is for Europe and the Americas. The content is the same in both.

Can't join live? The recording, with subtitles, will be on the intranet by Friday. Send your questions in advance, and we will answer the most common ones in both sessions.

05 · How I work with AI

How I bring AI into the way I work.

AI is one step of my process, not the whole process. I start with the brand as a design system, use AI to prototype, and review every detail myself. This page was made this way.
